- Since January 2026, CSI says the Canadian Securities Course no longer counts for CIRO approval with an investment dealer.
- Passing the IFC doesn't register you. A mutual fund dealer must sponsor your registration.
- Check that your target job postings actually ask for a credential before paying for one.
