Your first steps
- Check exact program eligibility and prepare employment/enrolment evidence. Winter 2027 applications open 23 November 2026 for past ECE applicants and 7 December for others; use the administrator's portal when eligible.

Requirements and limits
- Domestic student in a recognized Ontario ECE diploma; living/working in Ontario; normally six months of employment in eligible Ontario early-years agencies. Listed exceptions, including Francophone and Indigenous applicants, require at least one qualifying employment day. Eligible applicants may leave employment to study.
